I understand approach of gvmt - CMO and GVSA have been impressive. But I still don’t understand lack of testing. If you’ve had mild virus, you need to know you’ve had it. Then you can look after / visit relatives, get back to work etc. Usual caveat - I’m not an expert. Thoughts?
Some good news. By the way, this is one of the many reasons why we fund research institutes and universities and PhD’s etc etc. as a society. It may all seem a bit of a luxury to some until we actually HAVE to find something out about Nature very quickly.
‘Everybody in Britain is pretending there is only one scientific opinion. Other countries are trying to suppress it. Britain is following a theory of herd immunity. That is a v v big choice. It is not a scientific choice. It’s a political choice’

And yet the actual science says soap and water is more effective because the virus has a fatty coating which soap breaks down so.......wash your hands very regularly with soap and water. https://t.co/S6I4thzvuH
Thank you Chris...very interesting article and my gut instinct is right....please please use soap and water or we run the risk of creating super bacteria.
Any scientists out there...should we be worried about the over use of anti Bacterial products? Can't help thinking there is a lot of good Bacteria which helps keep us healthy being destroyed when we are fighting a virus not bacteria? Genuine question?

There seems to be a flaw in #Government plans to ask older people to return to work to help tackle the #CoronaVirus#Covid19 as we are told it is older people who are most at risk of the #Virus killing them.
