I can't remember the last time I even thought about writing on my blog so... it's time for it to go. I'll remain on twitter but you know... not gonna bother talking about ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฐ like I used to way back when. Eco stuff, parenting, books, general rants? Yep, I'm your person ๐
@nectar is the app down? I've trying the classic 'switch it off and on again' and uninstalled and reinstalled. The 'register' button works and the link to T&Cs but login does nothing
@JackiePenny@sainsburys Has your payment been taken? Usually the payment is taken on the day and payments are down (our store said no contactless payments can be taken)
@nectar I'm trying to log in to my account which I haven't used for ages. I've been able to reset the password but whenever I login, keep getting this message. Can you help?
*missing person* Please retweet and reshare.

@MichaelRosenYes@BooksTales I think it's good for displays to change, including displays like this. I used to love exercise books, and this is what some children will genuinely love. Next month, hopefully it will be something different and capture the attention of a different set of children โบ๏ธ
@djwindle@lindseyswansong If you're not thinking about it, it's really easy for every (or most) book you naturally pick up to be by a man. Even as a woman, there was a year when I realised about 90% of the books I'd read were by men, I guess predominantly because of marketing.
Everything about the Letby case is profoundly shocking - the murders themselves and the horrific impact on so many people, but also the institutional reaction of NHS managers when doctors raised the alarm and wanted to call the police. Big questions to discuss. This kind of news sometimes makes people want to look away, but there is much to look at here, to try to understand.
Just reading @Literacy_Trust's report report on 5 to 8 year old's reading that was published last year because it always perplexes me that almost 1 in 5 kids don't have a book of their own (link if you're interested https://t.co/N9w3mv8MRW)
