@idioteducator5 @coachsekoch@AZSBUpdates Hey look! It’s the jerry who thinks it’s okay for a ski resort to prioritize design choices that cater to summer sightseeing rather than winter functionality resulting in a gondola that runs less than 50% of the time in the winter! Weather events have nothing to do with it
@AZSnowbowl why did you prioritize summer sightseeing over winter functionality? You are a SKI resort after all, shouldn’t you be prioritizing getting SKIERS to the top not sightseers? What is your plan to remedy this and allow us to access the terrain we pay so much for?
@MandyRey2@AZSBUpdates So in summary the owners wanted a sightseeing lift that could accommodate non skiers on a round trip to the top and back down. The design comprises required to make this happen resulted in probably the worlds least reliable SKI lift.
@AZSnowbowl@OpenSnow Wow isn’t it crazy how the gondola hasn’t ran since this tweet? Wasn’t it supposed to modernize the resort and allow us to ride these great conditions even more? Yet it’s done the exact opposite. Bring back the old Agassiz triple!!
@AZSnowbowl Great conditions…..wish we could actually ride them! When will you be replacing the current gondola or modifying it so as to allow it to actually work?? When will you be announcing these plans? If you want to keep returning customers….these things need to be addressed ASAP
@AZSBUpdates Also, when will you be announcing a concrete plan in order to prevent this same debacle of a season from happening next year?? As someone who’s ridden here for 20 years, I am considering not buying a pass for the first time ever which just makes me sad to even type
@AZSBUpdates At this point we’d just like some honesty and transparency. You provide these “updates” throughout the day yet the lift doesn’t even have chairs on it. At the very least you could state that there’s no plans to open the lift today as early as possible to prevent people coming up
@lisak1623@AZSBUpdates On these types of days? Stay home. The drive up the 17 is bad enough without poorly prepared Phoenicians spinning out without chains
@MarieTwist1@AZSBUpdates Wow so got it running on a weekday when it’s 19 degrees but on the busy weekend when it’s 40 degrees they give up by noon? Love the consistency @AZSnowbowl good job!
@AZSnowbowl@OpenSnow Will the gondola that was supposed to revolutionize the resort actually be running so we can enjoy all the powder? Yet to be able to hit the bowl on the best season we’ve had in years cause you can’t keep the lift spinning
@AZSBUpdates Wow got it up with an hour left in the day! Where was this effort on Sunday when you guys gave up at noon on the hottest day of the year? You realize just how big of a joke you’re becoming right? Give us back the old Agassiz lift and take your sightseeing clown show of a gondola
@AZSBUpdates T shirt weather on the rest of the mountain but somehow too much ice up top? You guys gotta figure your shit out. There’s absolutely no reason a lift should be closed on a day like today. Becoming a bit of a bad joke at this point. Rather have the old Agassiz lift back then this
@WithoutaPatL@MandyRey2@AZSBUpdates So pay full price expecting half the product? Then be stoked when you actually get what you paid for? What kind of dickhead logic is that lmfao.
@MandyRey2@WithoutaPatL@AZSBUpdates That’s the part I don’t get. There’s lifts all around the world that run in sub zero, windy conditions all day long but even the slightest bit of wind closes the gondola at snowbowl. Meanwhile, absolutely no transparency from @AZSnowbowl whatsoever on what they’re doing to remedy
