@enunomaduro I dont personally like this approach. This has a mindset of coupling between tests and implementation. If there is changes in the implementaion, the test code need to change as well.

@allenholub I always thought that thought leaders were those who drive the idea. Like yourself, you drive the conversation by either making a statement or asking questions, and people follow through as you drive the thought process and conversation.

IMO abstraction is an important given that it is used "properly"
@alexbrogan YouTube and the internet are indeed a great place to learn. But one needs to have critical thinking in order to efficiently learn from them. As freedom of information and there are also misinformation.
@allenholub I do agree with trusting engineers to uphold professionalism. But that's a perfect scenario. There are cases due to circumstances where there are bad engineers. Of course the direction is to trust, but trust needs to be gained.
I've seen lots of organizations claiming to be following agile. But are they? Too many versions of agile.. which is right which is wrong. At the end of the day, ask yourself, are you following the manifesto? Or following the process?
@allenholub Preach! This needs to be made aware to everyone! Being fast is not always great. The ability to adapt to rapid changes of the market is more valuable than being fast. Being flexible and reliable is the key.
