We can’t fix education without fixing parenting.
Teachers are burned out because too many children are showing up without the respect & discipline that should start at home.
Until we hold parents accountable, the “teacher shortage’ will only worsen.
As a former middle school teacher and current high school teacher, I am very afraid of the current state of education. The kids are so far behind in every subject, even those kids that were once considered “gifted” struggle with writing coherent sentences. It is not looking good.
After noticing that an American flag at the Tax Collector’s Office in Ruskin, which is currently being used as a fuel site, was damaged during the storm, four HCSO deputies replaced it. Two of the deputies are Marine Corps Veterans and were proud to hang this new flag during a time of healing here in Hillsborough County. 🇺🇸

"If the storm stays on the current track, it will be the worst storm to impact the Tampa area in over 100 years," according to National Weather Service.
This is getting really bad. Preparations should be underway for all of central Florida.
Expect mandatory evacuations to begin probably Sunday at some point on the west coast. If this parallels I-4, this is one of the costliest hurricanes in Florida history.
Track is key though. Small changes shift the overall impact and surge.

She was authentically herself! She didn’t NOT try to fit into the room and when I say Vanessa girl you stood out! You stood out! You provided such invaluable information. I don’t think you know how much you have changed my life with this session, If no one else needed it, I DID!
I was in the early stages of opening up my private school, here in Tampa Florida, and was faced with a decision. That 1 decision. After hearing Mr. O’Neils’ keynote and reading his book, “There’s no such thing as a Bad Kid”. I knew exactly what I needed to do! I left that session
