@Space_Station@NRO_gov@USSF_SSC About eight minutes after liftoff of each mission, the Falcon 9 first stages and Falcon Heavy’s side boosters will return to the launch site at our landing zones in Florida and California, announcing their arrival with a sonic boom
In may of 2025, a bit after FLT-9, i submitted a FOIA request to the FAA to receive copies of the final mishap reports for Flights 7 & 8.
Over a year and a half later, and they finally got back to me.
The mishap reports are heavily redacted as i expected but are still cool.
This image was a total experiment.
30-second exposure from a remote camera with a 10-stop ND filter over the lens, sound activated from about a mile away from Pad 2.
Absolutely thrilled with how it came out.

We've entered another post-starshit depression period...
😢
But, What's this⁉️ A crew launch and a FH within the same day (plus a bonus rideshare)‼️
We're having the ultimate Falcon Feast🗣️
