What does our world need more of?
Humility. That was the message at Jalsa Salana UK, Britain's largest Islamic convention, as Imam Ayyaz Khan explained how Islam teaches that the humility we show before God should extend into how we live and treat others. Wealth, status, knowledge, and even spiritual progress should never make us feel superior to those around us.
🤲 Bai'at: A New Life

“Reflect upon your own condition…”
A moving excerpt from the speech by Mr. Marwan Sarwar Gill (President & Missionary Incharge, Jama’at Ahmadiyya Argentina) at Jalsa Salana UK 2026.
A timeless reminder that true spiritual growth begins within our own hearts. 🤲

Alhamdulillah! With hearts full of gratitude, Beloved Huzoor (aba) announces the total attendance of Jalsa Salana UK 2025 has reached 46,061.
46,061 souls gathered for the sake of Allah, united in love for the Promised Messiah (as), and devoted to the mission of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa).
Tears, prayers, and brotherhood filled the air—what a blessed gathering. May Allah accept it all. Ameen.

A Century of Divine Support - Now Our Responsibility
They should act with justice and recognise the truth. The Promised Messiah (as) came for the reformation of faith. It has now been over 130 years, and Allah’s support is still evident. Look at what has been achieved. Just yesterday, Huzoor (aba) presented a report detailing the global publications, schemes, systems, and projects, none of which could succeed without Allah’s help. Is this not a sign? But with this comes a great responsibility upon our shoulders.

Signs for Reflection: The Truth of the Promised Messiah (as)
Through prayers and divine revelations, signs were shown in support of the Promised Messiah (as). Some recognised the truth through dreams—some even saw the Holy Prophet (sa) himself affirming that the Promised Messiah (as) is indeed the one. Righteous saints like Gulab Shah Sahib and Nimatullah Wali foretold his coming. So many have entered the fold of Ahmadiyyat—is this not a powerful sign of his truthfulness?
All these signs are before them—will they not reflect?

Divine Signs in Favour of the Promised Messiah (as)
Therefore, Allah has given many signs in favour of the Promised Messiah (as). He was told by Allah that those who try to defame or humiliate him will themselves be humiliated—and that is exactly what happened. Many opponents rose against him and failed. Is this not a great sign? The Promised Messiah (as) said many signs were fulfilled: some ill were cured, some opponents were humiliated, and some even died.

The Signs of the Latter Days in the Holy Qur’an
“And when books are spread abroad” (81:11)
This foretells a time when publications and literature will be widely circulated—a powerful sign of the Latter Days.
“And when the stars are obscured” (81:3)
The ‘stars’ symbolise the scholars of the Ummah. Even now, their light has faded, and they no longer guide as they once did.
These are clear signs that the age requires a divinely appointed Reformer.

The Latter Days and the Need for a Reformer
“And the sun and the moon are brought together” (75:10) “When the sun is wrapped up” (81:2) These verses point to a time when darkness will veil the teachings of the Holy Prophet (sa). His light will be obscured in the latter days.
“And when the beasts are gathered together” (81:6)
People will become beastly, and their morals will decline. In the name of intellectualism and modern thinking, society is embracing immorality. Such a time demands a Reformer.

Benefit from the Spiritual Rain of the Promised Messiah (as)
Benefit now from this spiritual rain. They say Jesus (as) will descend from the heavens, so if the Promised Messiah (as) was false, Jesus should have descended by now. Hundreds of thousands follow the Promised Messiah (as).
If this were falsehood, why has Jesus not come to guide those following it? This proves the truth of the Promised Messiah’s (as) mission.

Islam Will Spread Through Love, Not the Sword
Islam will not spread through the sword or force—it will spread through love and the beauty of its teachings. The Holy Prophet (sa) only lifted the sword in self-defence. Huzoor (aba) will now mention prophecies. The birth of the Messiah in the latter days is established through the Holy Qur’an and Hadith. The signs of the solar and lunar eclipses point to this truth, and the Qur’an also supports it.

Responding with Kindness and Compassion
Opponents may use vile language, and sometimes Ahmadis feel compelled to respond similarly. However, Huzoor (aba) advises Ahmadis to refrain from harsh language. Instead, they should maintain kindness and compassion in their approach, reflecting the true spirit of Islam.

Corruption and Disorder in the World
Corruption has spread across the land and sea. We witness disorder and chaos all over the world today.
These signs point to a time of great turmoil and the need for divine guidance.

Eclipses Confirm the Time of the Promised Messiah (as)
These eclipses occurred during the time of the Promised Messiah (as). Therefore, these signs prove that this was the era for the Reformer to appear. In 1300 years, many claimed to be the Mahdi, yet none had these signs fulfilled. When these signs were fulfilled in the Promised Messiah’s (as) claim, he was still rejected by many.

Ramadan Eclipses: Signs of the Promised Messiah (as)
A lunar eclipse on the first night of Ramadan and a solar eclipse in the middle of Ramadan are prophesied signs heralding the advent of the Promised Mahdi or Messiah. These specific eclipses during Ramadan are unique more than ordinary eclipses and serve to confirm the divine truthfulness of the claimant’s mission.

The Unique Signs of the Mahdi’s Advent
The hadith narrated by Dar Qutni mentions two extraordinary signs heralding the Mahdi: A solar eclipse in the middle of Ramadan, and a lunar eclipse on the first night of Ramadan. These eclipses are described as unprecedented, never seen since the creation of Adam (as). Such unique signs emphasise the divine nature of the Mahdi’s coming.

The Prophetic Promise of the Messiah and Mahdi
The advent of the Promised Messiah and Mahdi (as) in this era is firmly established by the Holy Qur’an, the ahadith, and the sayings of the elders of the Ummah. The Holy Prophet (sa) prophesied the arrival of the Messiah and Mahdi within his Ummah at the end of the 13th century Hijri or the beginning of the 14th century Hijri.

The Messiah’s Arrival at the Dawn of the 14th Century
The Messiah and Mahdi was destined to appear at the start of the 14th century. Scholars have studied and interpreted the narrations, concluding that the Promised Messiah (as) was meant to come precisely at the beginning of this century. This timing was divinely appointed to address the challenges facing Islam in that era.
