@JacquezGreen We’ve forgone family summer vacations for 4 straight years (this being the 4th) because my son plays for Virginia’s best team and they practice 49 weeks each year. We’re taking a long vacay next summer after he graduates.

@CoachP_DLine Trying to give Styles benefit of the doubt, but after watching him blow assignments vs Miami, it kinda makes sense to say it was a blown assignment. I don’t think the OSU coaches would have him on Q, especially when backside edge is free and you see him checking Q before pursuit.

@PGalloway16 There’s no way they’re doing football 7-8 hrs. More likely it’s 4-5 of football related stuff and then something else

@PGalloway16 They have a bunch of scrappy city kids, heavy on Wr and DBs, but not very big up front. It’s designed to mimic aspects of a college program, but the reality is that it’s best to keep kids busy so they don’t get in trouble…and around here, there’s a lot of trouble to get into.

@PGalloway16 …in the summer, they meet at 1:30 at the school and we pick him up at 8pm, Monday through Thursday, all summer.

@PGalloway16 My son’s school does that the entire off season. They are going for their 5th state title in 8 years this fall. They’ve been state runner up twice in that span.

@TrackCoachJones Open Georgia lists every dollar spent on salary, travel, and stipends for every state employee from Honerville to Dalton. Personal experience and stipend reports are a small data set.

@TrackCoachJones If you want to disqualify the sport that has more coaches than any other sport, but then say “most coaches”, then you need to provide a data source. Are you extracting data from Open Georgia, or some other salary survey?

@TrackCoachJones A lot means compare what GA coaching salaries are on average , then compare it to everyone else. GA has the highest paid HS coach in the US and has more coaches making over $100k than every state other than CA.

@TrackCoachJones One will be forced to coach. But let’s start here: Georgia pays HS coaches a LOT. If the barrier to entry is being a certified teacher, then consider that as a Quality control measure.
