@KNTFootball I think the outrage is bullshit. Of course they played their minds out because they didn’t want military service. I think they should give exemptions LONG before Asian Games gold. I would also give it for other high achieving people in business, kpop, media, etc.
@SaintKeeks1@pjeung23@BibimBallers I agree with this sentiment. Be frugal with tax payer funded accounts. Be lavish with private company expense accounts :)
@talkFT@Albert_Kim2022@BibimBallers He played second fiddle on the best club team in the entire world. So that’s ok. He’s not that level but he’s still elite. So that’s why he’s moving to find more playing time. Think he’ll do great in Athleti.
@talkFT@Albert_Kim2022@BibimBallers On the national team I think he’s done absolutely fine with chance creation and crosses into the box. When he doesn’t send it, it’s more an indictment on lack of off the ball movements from national team teammates.
@mozkid8@lafcdaniel I don’t think that’s true. I think that just points to how unbelievable of an athlete he is. And that is rare. But rare things do happen.
@ProspectsUsmnt Only if you have the pool from which to pull the talent like a Spain or an Argentina. They’re on that field not because somehow being shorter made them better. But they’re better despite their size. It’ll never happen. US is too much into other sports.
@USSoccerColl R32 was min. R16 is nice. R8 is an excellent accomplishment. And semi would be a dream… so sad Balogun won’t play. Guy deserves his chance vs Belgium..
@RockySebastia@KNTFootball I agree with you. While I sympathize with the sentiment and the anger because it’s not just the failures of the is WC but he represents the corruption and nepotism within Korea as a whole. But while incompetent, he isn’t the source of all corruption and nepotism.
