@robertmarawa could never accept this line-up without players like jay-jay okocha, apedi pele, kalusha bawlya, patrick mboma, lucas radebe, didier drogba, mustafah hadji, david nyathi, shoes mosheou, sizwe motaung.....daaamn i would select taribo west or sunday oliseh over kolo toure anyday!
Smith, Kallis, Boucher & AB resisted transformation, prioritised their clique above the team, and created a culture of entitlement where they even threatened retirement if selection didn’t go their way. Bavuma is the antithesis of what they stood for, this can never be for them.
@LeniseHamilton@WhiteLionII1 ah, nothing like a bit of sarcasm to really highlight the absurdity and horror of apartheid—because, you know, systemic oppression is just soooooo hilarious.
@FabAcademic@vote_checker it would have been better of you had assisted the public by firstly defining percentages and percentage points. a normal person on the street would see 17% on their receipt/tax invoice, the speech that leaked was clear.
On Tuesday the 30th of April 2024, I had the honour of being awarded a MSc in International Development degree by the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies (@SOAS).
It’s an honour to join an illustrious Alumni notably Walter Rodney, a revolutionary Pan Africanist from Guyana and Arkebe Okubay, Africa’s most cogent Proponent of industrialization. The journey was worth it and expanded our understanding of What is to be Done!
And of course had to go via Highgate Cemetery to visit Karl Marx’s grave!
