It’s been 525 days since Pete Ricketts’ last town hall.
This week, Ricketts’ toothless stock trading bill failed. Having achieved nothing, Ricketts will now fly home to do even more nothing.
Trump just blocked the transfer of 3,000 critical air-to-surface missiles to Ukraine.
If Trump is not a Russian agent, he is certainly acting like one. His decisions are helping prolong this senseless war and leaving Ukrainian civilians more vulnerable to Russian attacks.
I've been dooming on Dan Osborn's odds in #NESen, but this is a really, really strong ad. Pete Ricketts is a disgusting monster and does not belong in the US Senate.
This could be a fatal blow for Ricketts if Osborn gets enough money behind this ad.
CNN witnessed 25 migrant children, some as young as 3, in a Texas immigration court on Monday, many without attorneys amid the Trump administration's push to speed up deportations of unaccompanied minors rescued by Border Patrol. The judge denied asylum to Angel, whose family lives in the U.S. and who feared danger back home, then issued a removal order with an appeal deadline at month's end. Court sketches captured the children's distress, like a boy with his head in his hands, fueling online divides: supporters praised ending child trafficking, while critics decried the emotional toll and lack of representation.
Extraordinary for any American president: Mr. Trump offered to sell weapons to Xi Jinping of China. That was revealed in an interview by David Perdue, the US ambassador. Trump is withholding a $14 billion arms package to Taiwan approved by Congress. China aids Iran and Russia.
Nebraskans are paying more to get married, put gas in their cars, and file a case in court — all to cover a budget hole Jim Pillen dug himself.
As Governor, I'll stop balancing the books on the backs of working families.

Today, Farm Action Fund’s Rural Independence Initiative announced its endorsement for Independent candidate Dan Osborn @osbornforne for U.S. Senate in Nebraska. Nebraska’s economy has been hit hard by the farm crisis, particularly in its cattle sector. The Rural Independence Initiative focuses on electing the best federal candidates, regardless of political affiliation, who support local farmers, rural America, and healthy food and challenge corporate monopolies.
The endorsement of Osborn is especially significant because his independent candidacy embodies the Rural Independence Initiative’s commitment to supporting candidates based on whom they represent and the policies they support—not the political party they belong to.
Farm Action President and fourth-generation farmer Joe Maxwell said, “We are proud to back independent mechanic Dan Osborn for U.S. Senate. He has been a fearless champion for Nebraska farmers and ranchers confronting the power of the corporate beef monopoly that has been sucking wealth out of rural Nebraska. But this endorsement is especially significant because Dan is doing something increasingly rare in American politics: He is running as an independent, outside the two-party structure, and asking voters to judge him by whom he will fight for rather than which party he will answer to. That independence reflects what the Rural Independence Initiative is about—putting farmers, workers, and rural communities ahead of party loyalty and giving them an independent voice in Washington.”
UPDATE—Mother of 17 year old boy who was beaten by ICE on way to enlist in Marines—has been deported.
Son says agents warned her to "be quiet" and "even offered us money" to not talk.
His mother bravely spoke out anyway.
She was then targeted for arrest—deported the same day.
“This morning, we notified the government that we are filing a lawsuit today to protect our First Amendment rights and defend the principle that the government does not decide what the press reports or publishes,” the three news organizations said in a joint statement on Monday. https://t.co/xtlFLQT1rg
Breaking News: Major TV networks — ABC, CBS, Fox News and NBC — agreed to suspend their pooled coverage of President Trump after the White House blocked CNN from its duties. https://t.co/pyHbL9VwwD
KARL: Do you support Trump banning news organizations because he doesn't like what they're reporting?
SCALISE: Look, Joe Biden removed the press credentials from over 400 different agencies
KARL: That's not true. 400 reporters who had credentials didn't reapply. They weren't banned from the White House. That did not happen.
Most Americans can expect to pay significantly more each month for health insurance next year, whether they get it through work, the Affordable Care Act or Medicare. https://t.co/IENlSNG14M
"This is no way to run a business and certainly isn’t the way to run the state."
Nebraska's property taxes have more than tripled since 2000, all under Republican governors. We deserve better. Vote @lynnewalz.
