@StephenRummage Stephen, This is very similar to the rhythm that developed in my ministry life. It made all the difference. Many friends would ask us to go out on Saturdays evenings and didn’t understand why we most always refused. If we did go, I was never very talkative. My focus, elsewhere.
What an amazing day we had at the Jesus Revolution Baptism at Pirate’s Cove. We baptized over 4000 people! I met people from all around the nation and even the world that came to town for this special event. May God bless everyone of them as they made this public stand for their fight in obedience to Jesus Christ in the waters of baptism!
LINES TO GET BAPTIZED
These are pictures from the largest baptism in US history which happened yesterday at Pirates Cove in Southern California.
Thousands of people were baptized in a single day, and made a public declaration of their faith in Jesus, and followed in obedience to Jesus to be baptized in water.
The line to get baptized was a half mile long. People patiently waited for hours to publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ.
This is an unprecedented move of God happening across the nation, and people are desperate for God to move in their lives and our world.
@nwspalding Nancy,
Thank you for your willingness to serve. Praying for you and for His hand to be on you and a hedge of His grace protecting you. I so appreciate your heart and godly character.
SWBTS is in great hands with Hawkins and Dockery. Both are great and godly men who know well who we are as Southern Baptist and understand the challenging opportunities we face. The future is bright indeed.
So sad how this company has treated a stellar employee, Robert J. I have noted ALL of their outlets. I will no longer utilize them. Character matters. Theirs is lacking.
Congrats to @bartbarber on being elected SBC President. So proud of the SBC for this vote and adopting the #SATF report! Our convention is headed in the right direction and there is NO DRIFT. NONE. Ignore anyone who says otherwise. Now @whosyour1_
