This is what Islamists are currently doing to innocent people in Sudan.
Not a word in the media about it.
Not a word from Cenk Uygur.
Not a word from the UN.
@AsteroidEnergy@RodDMartin@AmiDar I think Israel will tell you that October 7 was their catastrophic failure for the way they were doing things before.
@RodDMartin@AmiDar@AsteroidEnergy I don't see how it would be healthy for Israel, either. Should we just forget about the last few decades and hope that a weaker Israel will cause a hate-filled people to suddenly renounce their reason for existing.
Finally! I've been wondering when someone would realize this bill can advance under reconciliation rules. It deals with ensuring integrity in federal elections on which the federal government spends taxpayer money.
🚨BREAKING: Sen. John Kennedy is moving to put the SAVE America Act as RECONCILIATION, which only needs 50+1 votes.
Reconciliation means they can pass it with 50 votes, not 60.
If the SAVE America Act is written as a budget-related bill (money, funding, enforcement) it qualifies for reconciliation which allows it to pass with a simple majority.
Why has it taken so long to come up with this?
Why is Senator Kennedy coming up with it? … Instead of our leader John Thune?
Thune has to go!
Whether corrupt, compromised, or utterly incompetent, he has to go!
I'm trying to figure out how an Iranian leader who is acceptable to the US and Israel avoids being killed by the remnants of the mullahs' IRGC. Iran had to be disarmed, but I'm struggling to see how the country rebuilds without a major boots-on-the-ground presence that gives a new government the time it needs. Anyone?
The only people who want Iran to ever rebuild what it was a year ago are sworn enemies of the United States and radical western leftists. Iran must not be allowed to rebuild their former regime, ever.
IRAN IS NOW MILITARILY NAKED
The IDF dropped over 2,000 bombs in 30 hours and achieved air superiority over Iranian airspace on Day One. Read that again. Air superiority over a nation of 88 million people with the largest ballistic missile arsenal in the Middle East, accomplished before the second sunrise.
Here is what that means in physics, not politics.
The HQ-9B air defense ring protecting Tehran was inactivated. The S-300PMU-2 batteries that Russia delivered in 2016, the crown jewel of Iranian integrated air defense, were struck in the opening waves alongside their associated radar systems. The IDF conducted 700 sorties. CENTCOM hit over 1,000 targets. The New York Times confirmed that half of Iran’s ballistic missile launchers have now been destroyed across the June 2025 and February 2026 campaigns combined.
Half.
Iran entered 2025 with an estimated 3,000 ballistic missiles and roughly 400 mobile launchers distributed across hardened sites, tunnel networks, and dispersal positions refined over three decades. The IRGC Aerospace Force built the most sophisticated road-mobile missile architecture outside of China and Russia. Ghadr-1 variants with 1,950-kilometer range. Emad precision-guided reentry vehicles. Kheibar Shekan solid-fuel missiles designed specifically to evade Israeli early warning.
That architecture is being dismantled in real time.
The IDF released footage of F-35I Adirs destroying TEL vehicles (transporter-erector-launchers) on open roads. CENTCOM published video of Tomahawks striking hardened missile storage facilities. B-2 stealth bombers hit sites that survived the June campaign using 2,000-pound penetrating munitions. Israel-Alma’s battlefield assessment logged 62 separate waves of Iranian launches, each wave smaller than the last, confirming the progressive degradation of launch capacity in real time.
This is the Scud hunt problem from 1991, solved.
Coalition forces spent the entire Gulf War failing to suppress Iraqi mobile Scud launchers in the western desert. The kill rate was near zero despite thousands of sorties. The difference now: persistent ISR from space-based sensors, AI-assisted targeting, and F-35 sensor fusion creating kill chains that compress the detect-to-destroy timeline from hours to minutes. The mobile launcher that once survived by relocating between launches now gets struck during erection sequence.
And here is the implication no one is stating plainly.
Iran’s air defense network is the only thing standing between whatever enriched uranium remains and a future strike that removes it permanently. The 408 kilograms of 60% enriched material that the IAEA flagged before June 2025 was never fully accounted for. Defense Minister Katz admitted Israel does not know where all of it went. If that material exists in any recoverable form, the air defense architecture that would have protected it during a breakout attempt is now burning across 24 provinces.
Iran is not just losing a war. Iran is losing the physical capacity to protect the one asset that guaranteed regime survival: the latent nuclear option.
Without air defenses, without launchers, without command structure, the nuclear hedge is exposed.
The Islamic Republic just became the first nuclear-threshold state to be stripped of its deterrent in real time while the world watches.
No war college textbook covers what happens next.

The day will come when humans will be paid to build and develop the things that AI invents. Discovery and progress will be rapid. Humanity will reach amazing new levels. But, AI can only infer from the information available to it. It will always need human inductive genius to introduce new information for AI to work with. If AI doesn't kill us, if we don't use AI to better kill each other, or the Lord doesn't return, it's going to be amazing.
Eric Schmidt (former Google CEO) laid out an AI timeline at the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh in October 2024:
Within 5 years (2029–2030), AI systems will start writing and recursively improving their own code—triggering an explosive upward slope in capabilities.
Then, 6–8 years from now (2030–2032), a single non-human system could reach 80–90% of top-expert performance across every field simultaneously: physics, chemistry, art, medicine, and beyond.
No single human (not even Leonardo da Vinci) could match that breadth.
Schmidt:
"We don't know what happens when such a thing exists... but we know that that race is really important."
This matches his consistent warnings through 2025 (e.g., recursive self-improvement in 4–5 years, AGI-level dominance soon)—and with 2026's rapid breakthroughs, the clock feels even shorter.
A single AI smarter than any human in everything is coming fast.
What scares or excites you more about this timeline—utopia, existential risk, or total job transformation?
The Democrat threat to filibuster DHS funding won't affect ICE but it will prevent funding for the Coast Guard and its current work to stop the shipment of illicit drugs into the country.
Some commenters have said that if Bad Bunny's songs had been in English, he, NBC, and the NFL would be facing steep fines right now. Surely, Spanish speaking families in the US who were watching should also be protected by the same decency standards.
From my layman's perspective, the race to the moon seems legitimate to me. The first ones there get to begin searching for rare minerals and stake their claims. It's the new gold rush, but for minerals of much greater importance for the tech race.
Work is a necessary function of being human. God's mandate to work and care for the garden (Gen. 2:15) preceded His guidance about food (Gen. 2:16). By God's design we consume in order to work. We don't work in order to consume. We are first of all workers, not consumers.
The service charge on your restaurant bill is not for your server. It's the restaurant's way of charging you more for your food without revealing it on the menu. Essentially, it's a hidden charge that you don't see until it's too late. Seems deceptive to me.
This is completely ridiculous. She completely ignores the fact that people are not going to use their neighbour’s car and that a neighbour is not going to let anyone else use their car. That’s the problem with nonsense like this - it never takes into account basic human nature.
