”We need men to show other men and boys that you can be strong and respected without putting women down or using violence against them.”
This was the message delivered by Suzanne Innes-Stubb, spouse of the President of the Republic of Finland, at the Girls’ night event organised by SuomiAreena and UN Women Finland in Pori on Wednesday 24 June.
Mrs Innes-Stubb took part in a discussion with David Pelicot, a French human rights advocate dedicated to combating sexual violence against women.
The event also marked the launch of a commitment called “Every man’s responsibility. Don't stay silent – be part of the solution”. President of the Republic of Finland @AlexStubb was the first signatory of the commitment.

@NotSoSireus@mjfree What needs to be done⁉️ ... Detain, rape, deport or even kill mostly innocent people, who worked and contributed to the 🇺🇸 economy or their innocent children under the pretence of White Christian Supremacy⁉️ Or grifting for himself/his family over $4 Billion from the 🇺🇸people⁉️🤔
BREAKING: In a stunning moment, CNBC just admitted that the Strait of Hormuz has not been opened as much as Donald Trump has told us it is. Another Trump lie exposed.
@GuyRCosta1@GavinNewsom They! didn't go after him! The Justice System found him guilty in about 40 cases, concerning different, serious offences, partly by Judges named by the 45th Administration!! Do some fact-checking, please, before you claim his innocence!
The same people who spent weeks calling Knicks fans "rioters" and "looters" sure are quiet after a Knicks fan's father was nearly beaten to death by Spurs' fans and remains hospitalized in San Antonio
Funny how collective guilt only seems to apply to New Yorkers.

A severe drought in Spain has revealed one of Europe’s most astonishing archaeological treasures — a 7,000-year-old megalithic monument, now confirmed to be older than both the Pyramids of Egypt and Stonehenge.
Known as the Dolmen of Guadalperal, this prehistoric stone circle had been submerged under a dam reservoir for decades. As water levels fell, the stones re-emerged, giving archaeologists a rare chance to study one of humanity’s earliest ceremonial sites.
@MagaQueen75@JoJoFromJerz What a civilized comment!
