@RedFive1243@windowsinsider Also, we’re gonna be unable to check for 25926 without first getting past that .NET Framework(KB5028949). Any way we’ll see a hotfix later today? @windowsinsider
@windowsinsider@gcaughey@RedFive1243 Same, Ive also tried clearing the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder too, and that update still won’t work.
@artificial_ch@windowsinsider I heard they are focusing more on kernel updates for canary, which on the surface does appear boring, but is actually much riskier in terms of data loss, therefore reserved for canary. The Dev channel is getting the new features, which is actually more stable.

This meme coin wave surprised me, I assumed people learned from the last cycle
but the reality is that our society continues to crumble under compromised governments and corrupt financial systems
people are becoming increasingly desperate, panicking and grasping for get rich quick ideas, no matter how stupid or illegitimate
can we blame them? The nonsense starts from top leaders and trickles down
a part of me wants to believe that out of these hard times strong people will rise
but then I think we got here in the first place because the majority of people can’t do basic math
I haven’t lost hope but I am adjusting my expectations
and no I’m not gonna start buying meme coins, 99.99% of people who buy this garbage lose money, fk the shameless influencers that shill them
people who provide valuable services and products still have the best odds of becoming financially free
stay focused and never give up
@windowsinsider The app is just still WAY too resource heavy for what it is. I think more effort should really be refocused on cleaning up under the hood.
@Tantawi@windowsinsider How? Did you also use Group Policy? Cause I was able to select Canary after setting the “Insiders channel selection” policy to back to Not Configured. But if you wanted to go back to 23xxx builds, then you’d have to reinstall.
@windowsinsider Ok, I set that particular policy to “not configured,” and then was able to select Canary in Settings. As for it updating behind the scenes, I don’t think it does, because I should have gotten 25309 or whichever last weeks update was. That GP was holding it back.
