2) seriously, Florida’s @GovRonDeSantis is near Bolsonaro level of crazy now.

[Eric Feigl-Ding @DrEricDing]

📍Florida is one of the top 5 worst epicenters of #COVID19 in the entire 🌎. @GovRonDeSantis has gone mad. @RonDeSantisFL literally won’t do anything & refuses to allow schools to mandate masks—even suspend salaries of school leaders who try. #DeltaVariant is dangerous to kids.

[Dr. Tom Frieden @DrTomFrieden]

Our vaccines are holding up against Delta, but a future variant could emerge that's even more deadly or resistant to vaccine protection. It's up to us to reduce that risk by reducing spread.

[World Health Organization (WHO) @WHO]

To control the spread of the #COVID19 Delta variant, we need:

🔸better surveillance
🔸more strategic testing
🔸stronger contact tracing
🔸 early clinical care
🔸well-trained & well-protected 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️
🔸more R&D
🔸more vaccines

“Darby Allin is the perfect babyface to work with right now. He exemplifies what a babyface is today. He’s a little eccentric, a little different, but he’s just in your face every time coming back for more. I really appreciate him."

Americans are flocking to national parks in record numbers. But if you want to bypass the crowds, one strategy is to skip the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and other big names.
