Two observations about Game 4 crowd:
- Expected uptick in @FlaPanthers jerseys
- I have to give love to @EdmontonOilers fans.
They're either wearing a jersey or they're living their own gimmick in some kind of costume. It's like the Comic-Con of hockey and I love it.
R4-G4:
Absolute statement game, some things and maybe some shitposting because we're still alive (also, posts got an upgrade so you don't have to read the shitty old thread style):
1. Connor f***ing Brown, People. Talk about picking the right time to arrive. An absolute dog from start to finish tonight, his best game of the season and an absolute machine on the PK and the forecheck. Just fantastic exciting stuff to watch.
2. With that out of the way: Mattias f***ing Janmark, People! Also a statement game from him and frankly series. He's been so good, and frankly both of them have earned reasonable renewals.
3. Dylan Holloway! I've realized as I've watched Dylan the more he takes the "don't think, just do" approach from Top Gun, the better he is. That move off of Leon's pass was subperb and just pure instinct. Did you know he only played 12:36 tonight? Felt like 20:00, that's how impactful he was. Splendid Game
4. Broberg being an absolute legend, again. Such a good time for him to arrive, and watching him move the puck reminds me of Ekholm.
5. Speaking of Ekholm, what a game for the Swede! Just friggin' everywhere.
6. The big dogs came to party: We finally see some nice stuff out of Connor, Leon, Hyman and Nuge.
7. Much better defensive game, my lone negative for tonight is going to be still not completely stomping out our blueline allergy. Some failed clears that nearly cost if it wasn't for Skinner playing out of his mind tonight. Some HUGE momentum saving saves tonight.
8. I love what KK did with the lines, everything got a shot of youth (more on this later) and a small change to just shuffle up what wasn't working before. Foegele was pretty lights out on the first line.
9. The boys cashed in on some of their "bounces" deficit tonight, hopefully the stash holds for the series.
10. This is but one game (albeit a convincing one). One has to wonder if the dam has broken, however that depends how Bobrovsky comes back, if he goes full brick wall again we're not out of this yet. If this is the cracks? Here comes the flood......
11. Change basically nothing. These lines are the goods.
12. The forecheck tonight was superb, the second period in particular was a master class.
Embarrassing stuff from Bennett. Same shit Listorainen pulled in game 2. Crawling to bench, goes to dressing room while refs are discussing, looking like a career ending injury… refs make their decision and boom they are back next shift.
Oilers 8-1 win sets the record for the largest margin of victory by a NHL team facing elimination in the Stanley Cup Final.
Previous record: Maple Leafs 9-3 win over the Red Wings in Game 5 of the 1942 Stanley Cup Final.
What happened that year???
There’s a fucking reported shooting at WEM and people can’t share information on @Facebook from legitimate new sources.
This is insane. I’m hoping that everyone remains safe. Please avoid West Edmonton Mall.
Here is my guarantee to #Alberta:
If you vote in the UCP, you will lose your Family Doctor within the next 5-10yrs.

We are already all looking at exit plans. We have been since 2020. I don't know a GP who hasn't
