@MelAinscow I agree. I have seen this done effectively, however, it still requires whole school change to make sure that the learners are not segregated. I am not convinced that there is enough commitment to make this work, particularly in secondary.

@SchoolsWeek @david4wantage The NASENCO qualification has been doing this for a number of years and has trained / supported new and aspiring SENCOs to champion and embed inclusive practice on a national scale. A real shame that the expertise of current NASENCO providers is being lost.
