🚨Democrats behind ActBlue just hired a lobbying firm to kill legislation meant to block online credit card fraud.

ActBlue does not currently require a CVV code to make online donations. The SHIELD Act would require it by barring political committees from accepting contributions if a CVV code was not provided. It would also bar donations made using gift cards, pre-paid credit or debit cards or gift certificates.

FACT-CHECK: Under Gov. Tim Walz's watch, at least eight babies were born alive during botched abortions. All eight of them died. None of them received any care attempting to save their lives, and most of them didn't receive basic comfort care either. They were treated like garbage, and then thrown away.

We know this is true, because until 2023 Minnesota, despite not punishing the neglect of born-alive infants, at least required such failed abortions to be reported.

For Walz, it wasn't the dead babies that were a problem. It was the "reporting" part. So, Walz had the law changed to eliminate any reporting requirement for botched abortions, and make it so doctors and nurses were no longer required to provide care to born-alive infants.

The problem with having “pass the border bill” as an answer to every immigration related question is Democrats controlled the White House, Senate, and House during the first 2 years of the Biden admin, and nothing was done. A bipartisan deal was only attempted after 3 years of record setting chaos, in an election year - and it was initially tied to tens of billions in Ukraine & Israel funding.

The merits of that bill have been and will continue to be debated - but it’s as if the prior three years is before the bill’s negotiation didn’t happen.

Ultimately, Biden signed an executive order in June and got the Mexicans to up their enforcement in the winter, and those moves were enough to significantly reduce illegal crossings to the lowest levels in four years.
