Rolf and Gerd Reutlinger were deported from Frankfurt to the Kaunas ghetto on November 22, 1941, together with their mother Hannah. There, all those deported from Frankfurt, including 59 children under the age of 10, were shot shortly after their arrival, on November 25, 1941.
Rolf and Gerd Reutlinger Reutlinger were twins, born on October 15, 1937 in Frankfurt am Main. Their parents, Salli Reutlinger and Hannah, née Gutmann, had married in Kirchheim unter Teck on January 15, 1937.

On November 18, 1941, 996 Jews from #Hamburg, #Bremen and the Bremen-region were deported to Minsk. Among them were 149 children under the age of 14.

The last trace of one of the 149 children is of Hans Frank, who was sent to Flossenbürg concentration camp on August 4, 1944.
