25 years ago today, I threw a high slider that was popped up and found the glove of our center fielder, Brandon Cashman for the final out of our Big 12 Tourney game against Oklahoma State. This would also close the 100 year + history of Iowa State Baseball.

Our next guest this Sunday has some pretty big accolades. 2011 ISU Hall of Fame inductee and:
Two-year starter at defensive tackle, anchoring two of the best defenses in school history.
- Iowa State posted back-to-back 8-3 regular-season marks in his final two years as a starter.
- Voted team captain and was named the team's top defensive player in 1977, helping the Cyclones earn a Peach Bowl bid.
- Named First-Team All-Big Eight in 1977.
- Iowa State's defense yielded just 270.5 yards of total offense in 1977, the lowest total since 1966.
- Played in the 1978 Hula Bowl and Japan Bowl.
- Was a seventh-round draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 1978.
- Played two seasons in the NFL and was a member of the 1979 Dallas Cowboy Super Bowl team.
