So who knows what it’s like to leave your home and the only culture you’ve known, moved from sunny Southern California to cold snowy Iowa as a 19 year old Hispanic athlete to a lily white Ames Iowa? I know of one person.
This Sunday night #11 Alex Espinoza is going to be our guest and these are some of things Hes going to touch on
25 years ago today, I threw a high slider that was popped up and found the glove of our center fielder, Brandon Cashman for the final out of our Big 12 Tourney game against Oklahoma State. This would also close the 100 year + history of Iowa State Baseball.
On May 18, 2001, Iowa State played its final baseball game. Now, 25 years later, we look back at the legacy, memories, and impact of Cyclone Baseball with former players Jon Heath, Chris Zima, and Mike Busch on @trackingthestrm. Join us May 17 at 8pm. 🌪️⚾
