On This Day in 2016: the Magnum in Irvine closed. Once the largest leisure centre in Europe, it had swimming pools, an ice rink, a cinema and squash courts. It also hosted gigs from bands like The Smiths, The Clash and Madness. Who remembers going there as a bairn?
