1) American women: you are not enslaved. You are not oppressed. Maybe take 5 minutes to learn about the plight of Afghan women before you claim to be a “handmaiden.”

2) The handmaidens are enslaved surrogates and sexual objects for men. Even though they are raped and exploited, the Handmaidens DESPERATELY want to keep their babies that they birth for the wealthy members of society, but you wear costumes and scream about abortion. You are not the same.

3) Government and media propaganda is a recurring theme in The Handmaid’s Tale - maybe if you actually READ THE BOOK you would know that and could spot the lies you’re being fed.
