@georgie_grier Was a standup for 10 yrs, flew to Florida to play to 3 ppl in the back of a fish restaurant w/xylophone music playing and the audience yelling for me to "do (n-word) jokes." It sucks like holy hell now, but what doesn't kill you goes in your next show. Big love to you!

@misslucyjane Late night is when my brain works; I write on computer. I often use the social pressure of public places to make myself write bc you can’t just sit there. I go til I hit the wall, about 1.5 hours, refresh by doing something very un-word-y like hanging with pets and then repeat.
