Being professional is upholding high standards in low moments.
It's caring to do a good job even in jobs we don't love; treat others with respect even if we're disrespected; and do right even if we're wronged.
We earn trust by refusing to compromise on competence or character.
Kaleb has accepted the opportunity to play college baseball while attending Hamline University next year! We are so proud of him and excited for this next chapter. We are also grateful for the opportunity to continue watching him play the game he loves. ❤️

Saying what you want to hear is nice. People sugarcoat feedback to make you feel good today.
Sharing what you need to hear is kind. People speak honestly to help you do better tomorrow.

A key to learning is refusing to let your hopes bias your views.
As a mom of a student whose school was impacted by the “swatting” hoax yesterday, I am beyond thankful for the staff and law enforcement that ensured the safety of the students and staff in every building impacted.
Schools are and should always be places of safety and security for everyone. These types of false calls claiming an active shooter was at multiple MN schools are abhorrent and reckless. They are not a joke, nor are they simply fodder for a TikTok video.
Even as a trained school administrator in crisis management of this kind, you will never be prepared for a text from your child in which (hoax or not) an active shooter has been reported at their school.
