@ABC The biggest victims in this case were their children who no doubt witnessed all the turmoil leading up to the divorce, then lose their mother by their dad's hands, and now he is dead too. I can not even imagine how they can begin to heal from this. I pray they can. 1/2

Not able to sleep lately. Ended up watching the Alex Hernandez doc while catching up on some work. Very sad. I think he was looking for someone to love and approve of him for something other than a fat contract and a big paycheck. Even his mother treated him like a ATM.

@BillWoo95047899 I agree. It is noticeable how more and more players are retiring early - Eli is no kid, but he still has good years in him. I think the risk of serious injuries especially head trauma is a real concern. You can see when opposing teams hit TB. They are going in to hurt him.

@Rookie1082 No doubt the LE in this case were dirty, but I find it hard to feel any sympathy for Jody after she started selling interviews to anyone with $5 saying SA beat her and she was scared of him. She wasn't too scared to mooch off him and his parents though.

Is it wrong for me to say I believe that people can be coerced into false confessions but still be human enough to admit I get frustrated that not only did Brendan Dassey confess, he gave many DETAILS that ultimately ensured he and his uncle's convictions?
