Well..there goes my Topstep accounts. Breached.
During the session today, No orders were entering when I clicked market enter.
Suddenly many orders entered due to the platform lag and when I want to close it, nothing worked.
Charts were frozen. Next thing I know, I received emails that Max Loss Limit was reached and my account was breached.
Just want to be completely transparent and after careful consideration, I have decided to restart my Darwinex subscription hence closing this Darwin ticker.
This is due to me shifting to trading a completely new asset class and fresh adaptation to my trading approach which no longer aligns with my previous one.
My new Darwin ticker will be get private for now whilst I focus on improving my trading performance to a level which I’m satisfied with 🙏🏼
Officially sharing my Darwin to the public. Been months in the making and I’m proud of what I’ve achieved with @DarwinexZero so far.

Day 12 - $1 Million Funded Challenge with Topstep
A bit of a late post but took 2 bad trades on Friday with an account already in drawdown and due to that, Max Loss Limit was breached in on the account.
I know have 3 more $250K Combines remaining.
2 of those accounts are in drawdown and the 3rd account is at Initial Starting Balance.
I’ve been learning a lot these past few days and I’m hoping I can turn these accounts around slowly but surely.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
Day 11 - $1 Million Funded Challenge with Topstep
Took 2 trades today and both hit SL ❌❌
I was contemplating whether to trade today as my data suggested a small positive expectancy over a large enough sample size but it wasn't as very high to the point of where I HAD TO trade today.
So I decided to trade today to see what would happen. In hindsight, it's very easy to say I shouldn't have traded cause I picked up 2 losses today but it's also very easy to say the opposite if the trade hit TP.
Will take the losses today on the chin and record the data for future trades moving forward.
That's it for today and will try to come back stronger tomorrow!
We’ve all given money back to the markets. It’s a learning process.
Every mistake is a learning opportunity! I’ve lost a lot of money as well.
What we can take away from this lesson is that making money is good. But keeping the money is more important.
Capital preservation is KEY!
Don't you dare give up on trading.
There will be a point in your journey where you’ll question whether it’s all worth it.
You’re going to have days where you genuinely want to give up. That doesn’t mean you should.
Imagine quitting just before everything finally starts to click.
If you’re struggling right now, remember: a difficult chapter doesn’t mean the story is over.
You're going to make it work in the end, believe in yourself.
3rd day taking test trades on @ProprXYZ
I took an earlier trade that ended up hitting SL at -1% loss.
Waited for the 2nd entry confirmation and TP was hit!
So overall it was a 1% gain for the day, still getting used to trading with on-chain props via the Hyperliquid feed but that's why I'm doing some testing before trading with bigger account sizes soon.
2nd test trade on @ProprXYZ
Wasn't at my usual home setup and had to execute this trade on my mobile browser 😅
I believe an app is planned in the near future so just have to be patient on the app release!
Nevertheless, caught a nice short on NQ and everything went smoothly!
Onto the next one!

Thanks Fin!
For on-chain firms, I just focus on charting on the Hyperliquid feed instead of using another broker to chart. That way it’s more accurate.
So far the fills has been decent, slippage is minimal during my recent test trades.
I found there is some spread when trades exit for both SL and TP. Sometimes it’s very smooth and other times there is a bit of difference between the bid and ask price. This could be due to the liquidity or the order books on Hyperliquid.
My advice is to use the exact liquidity feed that the prop firm is using to have the most accurate pricing.
Also do note that for XYZ100, each price move is $1 on the chart whereas for NQ futures (CME), it moves every $0.25 cents. So perhaps that’s something to consider.
Hope that helps!
@archietradesea1@AndrewTradesNQ Nasi goreng which is fried rice! The food here is incredible but the monthly wage here isn’t great.
That’s why it’s quite normal for people to pick up an additional stream of income or side hustles other than their full time job to try and generate more money.
Took my eyes of the charts for a few minutes, missed my entry and the trade is running off without me
My own fault for not being focused and getting distracted
Shit happens 🙃
