@funcity_5@Horacethe1st How many second generation italian immigrants are there in the US? Surely that’s a bad example to pick given most will be 3,4,5th + generation.
I’ve seen videos of new york when Albania have been playing and it looks pretty active
@Mfarman431v08@Mukundred@RahulMukherji5 Tennis is definitely not more popular than cricket, wimbledon maybe but that’s more of a social event and status symbol than a sporting one.
Darts is a different ball game and not really comparable to ball sports in any way - far more people play competitive cricket than darts
@Danielhurley100@WisdenCricket@ctshirts@StuartBroad8 He’s a 35 year old professional athlete so should be held to a higher standard, but it’s hardly out of the ordinary to struggle to go home after 11 hours of drinking
@gov_fails Literally a point everyone made. English clubs also get slated regularly if when seating was made mandatory they built a new bowl shaped ground, rather than updating their original terraced ground
@SiIas_ Germans are genuinely the worst people in history, seems anyone with a backbone left when the Angles, Saxons, and Jutes migrated. Twice causers of global conflict out of jealousy, inventors of industrial genocide, and defenders of genocide and evil presently.
@MaxRadwan This isn’t really true for our bigger clubs though - home and away big 6 / premier league fans generally value club football much higher (along with a lot of championship clubs). Hardcore club and country fans are usually lower league. Also a minority of country>club PL fans
@NukeBushwick @saoirse_sikhu Provided the pasta was cooked fresh, spaghetti and meatballs is one of the few dishes where this doesn’t matter / the opposite is true
@samMFC123@JacobRaw_MFC I think he’s the perfect Hackney replacement - can drive the ball forward, finds pockets of space, decent shooting.
He’s not as good as Hackney in any of those departments but if we can do both deals quick and leave us with 10/15m profit that would be ideal
@louorns In the second half there were at least 3 promising attacks in which Saka made the wrong decision leading to a blocked shot or tackle (after taking too many decisions).
1 correct decision and there’s a goal scoring opportunity
@Merc635p1w@VirgilHilts01@AlexComber_ Goes against so much precedent of teams being reinstated, there is no chance (provided we win) that Hull are promoted
@James_McE1 We know, we go to them about 6 times a year with all the London away days there is. Wembley is a special occasion, there’s thousands of us there and many have to travel the day before.
Why not enjoy some nice Kronnenburg blanc in the sun?
@meeowsus@ektishongram@SWAG_SLAYER280 you can literally find them everywhere in busy areas, walk down walking street and 10 vendors will actually put one in your hand
