@ikarusz26 It’s not that there’s more rev or vol it’s that normies use US and normies aren’t used to getting robbed. Crypto is used to being scammed and lied too
Polymarket US has apparently been down for hours today. Does not bode well for first NFL Sunday.
If product doesn’t work, they are just lighting marketing money on fire.
Over the past week, Polymarket has disabled trading at least 10 times. I understand that technical issues can happen, but at this point it has become https://t.co/IysXaZu8WC happened twice today while I was actively trading. I was left stuck with open orders of $15k and $12k.If you cannot provide a reasonably stable trading platform (occasional unexpected problems are understandable), then stop offering trading until the issues are fixed. A lot of people are losing serious money because of this.
Ok I'm giving up on @Polymarket , it's just getting worse and worse since @mustafap0ly started hinting on $POLY airdrop
They've missed their perfect window, introduced mediocre execution perps and then continue to lose market share...
Who has contact with some @Kalshi chads?
To improve the trading experience across crypto markets, we’re increasing the taker delay from 50ms to 150ms on September 4 at 10:00 AM ET / 14:00 UTC.
We’ll closely monitor liquidity and market quality following the change and adjust as needed.

If you're not planning to fix the current CLOB cancel-order issue before Q4, can you at least move taker delay from 50ms to 100ms? Or are you going to keep handing out millions in LP until Q4? Or are you planning to hand the market to Kalshi/predict.fun/HIP-4?😂
Let me tell you what the cancel-order problem looks like now:
1. With no system load, if you cancel more than 3 orders at once, your latency goes over 75ms—greater than taker delay—which makes ladder maker orders impossible.
2. When the system is even slightly loaded, cancels are slower than order placement. This isn't a 1% thing—it's 20% now.
Seriously, roll taker delay back to 100ms. You don't need to fix p999 order-latency spikes—you just need makers to cancel in time 99% of the time. That doesn't require a Rust CLOB rewrite or rocket science—it just takes rolling taker delay back to 100ms.
You cut taker delay to 50ms, now you're saying you can't fix this problem and to wait for a engine rewrite—and you won't roll taker delay back either. What are you actually trying to do?
Sigh😣—I don't want to post about Polymarket anymore. This is my last rant for a while. If things don't improve, I probably won't doing Polymarket anymore.
