@Artemko7777@C2Antiquity@TaylorRMarshall Take this, and divide it among yourselves … And he took bread, and when he had given thanks [εὐχαριστήσας – eucharistēsas] he broke it and gave it to them.
Luke 22 : 18-19
@the_ostj Early Tractarianism is the upgrade and continuation of the Old High tradition so long as it doesn't explicitly contradict or condemn the articles and their interpretation by the divines of the proceeding era.
@AlbertoMiguelF5@SHJ_IHM Traditionis Custodes destroys any long term hope for TLM in these societies as well. Everything is dependent on the whims of hippies of the vatican. So this is all just a last bit of cope left for trads that are still in RCC.
🧵 What happens if the old Latin Mass (TLM) is slowly erased through restrictions or bans? Some Catholics will stay, others will scatter into new paths. Here are the main options traditionalists would face. Short term. Medium. Long term: ⬇️

@jeanluccpicard@CathApolDiscipl It is absolutely clear that Prevost has no intention of maintaining TLM for the long term future of the Roman Church and seeks to eliminate it completely. Otherwise he would have excommunicated these people instead of pushing hard against those who merely request bishops.

@TheOrthoEnsign By dependence i mean imputed righteousness meritoriously causing the infused one yet both being instantaneous and simultaneous. And if its duplex iustitia, both states of righteousness formally cause justification in union with each other.
@TheOrthoEnsign If he is arguing for two states of righteousness that constitute justification together and the infused one being dependent on the imputed one, if i am not wrong thats literally duplex iustitia argued for in regensburg 1541 and by some roman cardinals, some reformed and anglicans
