@3rdEyeDude Traffic cops would have ideally penalized the car here. That's how they usually work.
Galti kisi ki bhi ho, jisse paisa nikal sakta hai, usko fasao.....
@RoadsOfMumbai Things will only improve once you start adding the Commissioner of Police or other such head of law enforcement of that region in the FIR.
Until then the case will go on for years with no outcome.
@3rdEyeDude@blrcitytraffic@alokkumar6994 JCB/Bulldozer action should happen on Thar drivers
Smash their vehicles.
A good % of Thar drivers would definitely be causing accidents on streets
@alokkumar6994 Alok Kumar, you want to do justice you start hanging such violators via a 100 tonne crane at Silk Junction.
Enough is enough!
If the police can't handle it, citizens will end up taking actions in their own hands resulting in blood on streets.
You may not want that.
Act now
@DriveSmart_IN Mind you, India has become a big questionable joke.
That golden bird which the world once saw India as, suffered under various invasions & British raj. But ultimately it died once the IAS, IPS and Indian politicians took charge
@DriveSmart_IN So truck driver must have been detained by police(despite this evidence).
Would have been booked under 4-5 offences and even extorted some 20-30k from driver alone.
The biker must have gotten 2 lac compensation from state.
Insurance must have already handed 10 lac to his fam
@RoadsOfMumbai You need to tag @anandmahindra@motorcycleyogi to make them aware of this. @PiaggioOfficial too
They can only make this ugly death bringing vehicle go off roads since they are really big players and command lots of control on the Motor Vehicle depts across India
@sanghaviharsh Mr Shanghavi, you should also go around the city & see stretches teeming with this disease of wrong side driving.
If not deterred soon, this will cause strong repercussions later on with loss of life, wastage of fuel, impact on GDP, and even withdrawal of foreign investments
@sanghaviharsh Dangerous precedents.
Good that Sec 279 of the IPC is used- any individual who is driving or riding a vehicle in a negligent manner, thereby endangering human life, will be punished by law. The punishment under this is imprisonment up to 6 months, a penalty of ₹1,000, or both.
@AnilDeshmukhNCP@DGPMaharashtra@OfficeofUT this is on Pune Mumbai expressway in Maharashtra.! The logo on the vehicle says it all! Shiv Sainiks brandishing revolvers while trying to make way for their vehicle on Friday night. Can HM/ DG take note of this lawlessness.!
