@Rookadee If there is a nearby employee or manager on shift. And if it is convenient- we are timed as we shop. We lose access to future orders if we take too much time, even if it’s for the sake of accuracy. We also lose our tips if the order takes too long. Just saying
@Rookadee@benbrkhrt I’m also not defending the guy in the original post w the sausage right there, but it appears English is not his first language so I think we should be a bit more kind. I always do my best to find quality replacements bc the stores inventory is hardly ever correct.
@Rookadee@benbrkhrt As an Instacart shopper none of my deliveries have ever been to an elderly or disabled person. All boomer-aged and able-bodied, in very nice houses/mansions, and they never tip more than 5%.
@sundayheron@Rookadee@benbrkhrt I try not to make assumptions but the majority middle aged white women I deliver to just reek of privilege. I worked 4 hours yesterday and only made $25, only $9 were in tips. Young people I give more benefit of the doubt bc they seem more grounded in reality. I myself have fibro
@Rookadee oldest of the boomers are 80, so I’ll give you that. Many are in their 60s which is not elderly. My mom still downhill skis in her 60s. Of course not all are as fit as her. Boomer was a convenient term for the tweet but I will amend it to say middle aged. And mostly white women.
@sundayheron@Rookadee@benbrkhrt continue licking the boots of boomers who want you to never own a home and either die of lack of healthcare or die in massive debt while they laugh in your face eating their $300 groceries they just *had* to have delivered in a personal taxi
@LarrietDarling Could I get the shit that makes me temporarily relive the entirety of the 3rd grade (9/11 included) and when I come to I discover to my surprise that I deep cleaned the whole house? If they have it
