@WeWatchedAMovie One could maybe argue that so much media out here paints Chris Hanson as a hero, that one movie doesn't necessarily tarnish that idea. However, I do think the film does make a valid argument about sensationalizing the catching of the predators as well as the slippery slope of it
@TroyHasEbola I think you make a good point of, if they did do it, it'd be a better video game. Maybe that's where their ideas for the lazier Star Wars ideas should go so they can cook better in the movies and shows. Lazy fan service in a game is less offensive
@TheInSneider As much as I've loved action stunt Tom Cruise, I'm excited for the return of ACTOR Tom Cruise. He does great stuff in the M:I movies, but Tropic Thunder or even when he played Stacee Jax in Rock of Ages is a different energy. Just wanna see him have some non life threatening fun
@SquadLeaderAce I had to rewind after that scene because it was so RAWWWWWW. Shooting and then GUN PUNCHING the glass and loading the gun like he bout to get that MF.
@MikeKalinowski@AllAboutDCU I might legit just be thinking too much into it but I saw a Halloween costume of the Hal Jordan suit and it makes me wonder if it's not slowly shifting yellow? Maybe I'm crazy
@GroovyBruce Bruce! You weren't able to make it to Arkansas a few years ago, bc COVID. I just wanted to say you mean a lot to me and are a huge reason to why I love movies and gave me the biggest insight to how they're made with your books. Thank you forever
@TheRochaSays I rewatched The Social Network a bit ago and it's crazy how time changes a film. Fincher has always been a satirical director when depicting toxic masculinity, but that coupled with what we now know of Zuck and Facebook now, it feels like a prequel to the end of modern society
@DirectorRB3 There's literally no reason for them not to have done Blade by now, but I do wonder if Ryan Gosling along with Shawn Levy made it move faster where Blade just had Mahershala Ali w/o a director attached (was there one? I can't remember) not to mention Levy just did 2 movies for em
@WeWatchedAMovie I think it was smart to bring it more serious for the sake of bringing the franchise back, but I actually would like to see it not only get more funny but also explore different odd aspects of Evil Dead (more period pieces or time travel 😂)
@TheSwaggyBlerd I lowkey am a hater of the Watts trilogy, however I do agree that a good chunk of the emotional weight of this movie is only because of what was established in his trilogy. The literal last scene, built off a thing I always thought was tacky, has such emotional weight bc of Watts
