Great weekend at Rainhill MRC, sharing our vision for a bespoke Rainhill Trials Museum, in the disused side of Rainhill Railway Station building.
Positivity, enthusiasm and support for this amazing project to become a lasting legacy.

πWeβre delighted to be finalists in the βTransforming and Innovating Public Servicesβ category at the @theinetwork Awards for our approach to tech enabled care.
It forms part of our new practice model & uses innovative ways to help people live independently at home for longer.
"For those who survived and for the loved ones left behind, today is another step on a long and challenging road. But they will not face it alone."
My statement following today's sentencing π
We are delighted and excited to announce that local children's author Susan Brownrigg, will be in Rainhill this afternoon, with her new children's book "Wrong Tracks".
Susan will be in St Ann's Millennium Centre today (16th January) between 2pm and 4pm.
Susan describes the book "Wrong Tracks is a fun, page-turner which sees Edward and his new friend Prudence trying to solve a mystery. They soon discover that not everyone is a fan of the Stephensons and that someone might be trying to sabotage Rocket.β
Well done to everybody involved including Rainhill Railway & Heritage Society, Rainhill Civic Society, Rainhill Parish and Ward Cllrs as well as an army of passionate people who would not take no for an answer β€οΈ #FORTE
On we go with our next step in making the dream a reality
"Who is sabotaging the Rainhill Trials?
It is 1829. Everyone is talking about the exciting new rail ways and young Edward Entwistle cannot believe his good fortune: a chance encounter sees him offered a job at the Stephensonsβ Steam Locomotive Manufactory"
