We are delighted and excited to announce that local children's author Susan Brownrigg, will be in Rainhill this afternoon, with her new children's book "Wrong Tracks".

Susan will be in St Ann's Millennium Centre today (16th January) between 2pm and 4pm.

Susan describes the book "Wrong Tracks is a fun, page-turner which sees Edward and his new friend Prudence trying to solve a mystery. They soon discover that not everyone is a fan of the Stephensons and that someone might be trying to sabotage Rocket.”

Her new book is based around a real boy from Tyldsley, Edward, who claimed to have driven the world-famous steam locomotive, Rocket.
