π Hello Twitter!
I'm Ian, a trainer, former tech Senior Director, and founder.
Today, I'm introducing Uplift: an Agentic tool that helps trainers scale what's "Uniquely Human" about their service.
Here is q4 pitch, soon Ill be sharing my more recent updates.
#BuildInPublic
@Abhirajputfit This is so true. I think as men we think we need drastic and intense behavior change to sprint to results. This is why I think so many of us do 2X a day workouts, starve ourselves, and try to PR every workout.
@ZachMcGrew That's a solid transformation window. Are you tracking progress through photos or just weight/measurements? Month-to-month updates will definitely keep them locked in.
@maxwabam Building a client base around shared values actually makes the work way easier because you're not constantly managing expectations or dealing with people who don't get it.
@maxwabam Getting the systems dialed in early is smart. A lot of trainers I know spend months figuring out client management stuff after they already have a full roster and it becomes a headache.
@micheal_ws18 This hits different when you've been grinding for years and the progress stalls. Sometimes it's not about the gym, it's about whether you're actually dialed in on what works for you. For me it was the gym, from 18-33/ Not its Jiu Jitsu. So happy
@trevgoes4th@ted_ryce Exactly. Once you hit a certain age, the joint health side of it becomes way more important than just moving heavy weight around.
@ted_ryce The stability gains from rings are legit. A lot of people don't realize how much carryover you get to regular pressing when you nail the scapular control piece. Great for bjj too!
@Repent_2_Jesus@ChamberofFit Sprint work is legit. Ive found most people can't stay with sprints long term but will stick with strength work. Just my clients tho
@greggwaters369@theoliveranwar The online space is definitely flooded with noise. Finding someone who actually cares about your progress vs chasing viral clips is the real challenge.
@MikeJTrades@theoliveranwar Facts. The comparison trap is real, especially when you're seeing edited content and people running PEDs. Most sustainable fitness looks boring next to that.
@no_die_pls@theoliveranwar Real talk. The fitness industry has conditioned people to think visible abs = healthy, when actually someone's work capacity, strength, and consistency matter way more.
