A4: This really highlighted the shift I'm seeing in education - a shift that encourages teachers to serve as facilitators. When this shift occurs students have the space to bring their experiences, interests, and unique voices into the classroom.

A3: I would have my students' collectively create a list of questions that corresponded to the unit/lessons, and they would be tasked with researching their questions and teaching their classmates. They always loved to share what they discovered!

A2: I would frequently have my students lead the classroom, and I would have an alternating groups of students that were the "weekly teachers." Together we would plan the lessons, and I would facilitate their learning/ leading experience.

A1: I incorporated my students' voices into the classroom by tapping into their personal experiences. Everyday I would provide a prompt related to the lesson that asked them to recall a personal story that connected to the prompt.
