@WillyMandrake@BellikOzan thats ever. 1 in 10 million every year is a bit of an overstatement. Plus, assuming you don't die, you get to go home afterwards
@OJRH3221@Yrouel86 Out of every rocket that achieved orbit on its first attempt to orbit, I believe only Saturn I, IB and starship flew suborbital before hand. And both Saturn rockets had less suborbital flights combined than starship, which was built over 50 years later.
@Mcclainseanm@Yrouel86 Maybe, and I will not say that there is *no* achievement made today. However, barely two years ago we were told starship was going to be on Mars. 5 years ago we were told it would beat SLS to the moon. Today it had 3 engine failures on the 14th mission. I'm not too impressed.
@Yrouel86 Maybe, but when all the other students who passed this super hard class did 0 practice tests and you had to do 13, maybe you arent as smart as the rest of them.
@NASAAdmin "under this Administration, we can just do things"
This industry requires reviews and community consensus to operate successfully. Sad to see top down decision making without consulting the teams who are needed to make it happen become the norm at NASA.
@Truthful_ast Bro what does Starliner gotta do with HLS lmao. Nobody is talking about Starliner because it flew 2 years ago atp. People complain about spx being behind not just because they're behind but because its evident they don't actually care about supporting Artemis
