@Fish2Write Hero of the Wild had a childhood. Hero of Time didnt. Wild forgot, Time was forgotten. In my opinion, being forgotten is worse for the psyche than forgetting. Theres a reason why Time leaves Hyrule after OoT. Wild has a place in the new Hyrule with Zelda. Time feels he has none

After Sony takes their cut of revenue, and with timed exclusivity harming potential sales on other platforms (particularly PC), Square has deemed those deals no longer beneficial to them.

Regardless of Sony's help, they still got screwed over in terms of potential sales. Compared to PS4 numbers, PS5 just doesnt have the install base to make it worthwhile

@FlashFireFist_ @Soraismyson It's simple. If you have a long running franchise on multiple platforms, exclusivity (timed or not) kills the hype for anyone who wants to play those games on the platforms who get it last. By the time 16 and rebirth came to all platforms, the hype for them died

Kitase himself came out and said they can't really afford to do exclusivity and are focusing on releasing on all platforms
