They hate the Kurds because we are a secular society where Muslims, Christians, Jews, Yezidis and many more can live side by side with respect. Whilst they just prefer fake revolutions to flip from Shia control to Sunni control & vice versa. Destruction is in their blood.
We, as Kurds, and as Kurdish women in particular, see the silence of women globally, and how loudly it speaks. We know this silence well: the quiet of global powers, their complacency, their consent, their open approval of what is being done to Rojava.
But where is your outrage?
Where are the solidarity movements, the human rights organisations, the women’s rights groups who speak so loudly everywhere else? Why this deafening silence while Kurdish women and girls are slaughtered, beheaded, their throats slit, taken as spoils, gifted to ISIS leaders, their bodies desecrated even in death?
These women, our warrior women- daughters of the sun, granddaughters of the ancient mountains of Kurdistan- fought for your freedom. They gave you 'Jin, Jiyan, Azadî' so you could imagine liberation beyond borders and imposed identities. Kurdish women stood between the world and the violent, toxic masculinity of jihadist militias and patriarchal death cults. We gave you our Arins, our Denizes, our Hevrins, our Barins- so that you could live without fear! They bled so you could be safe!
And now that they are bleeding again, you look away.
As Kurdish women, we condemn this silence: the collective silence of women globally. We condemn so-called feminists, your hollow solidarity, your meaningless commitments, your self-serving agendas! We condemn your apathy, your selective outrage, your cowardice! Your refusal to speak normalises patriarchal violence against us. Your silence is not neutrality- it is complicity!
History will remember this silence as Kurdish women bear the full weight of jihadist violence on their bodies, their dignity, and their existence. Few of you possess the courage Kurdish women showed when terror came to their doorsteps. And when that same violence inevitably reaches yours, we will be sure to stand in solidarity with you just as much as you have stood in solidarity with us!

Elon can you please help the Kurdish people in the city of Kobanê in West Kurdistan (North East Syria) who are surrounded and up against ISIS terrorism. They’re calling out for starlink access as they’ve been cut off from internet, electricity and water. @elonmusk
You celebrated these Kurdish women when they stood between you & ISIS. You shared their images, praised their bravery, & claimed their struggle as a moral victory. Today, as they are humiliated, imprisoned, & brutalized by the Syrian jihadists you are normalizing & empowering, you look away.
History will remember who spoke — and who decided Kurdish lives only mattered when they were useful.

Kurdish Channel 8 TV Presenter:
Today I styled my hair exactly like the Kurdish girl you executed and cut her hair ,
You are terrorists. We are the original owners of this land.
War has come — welcome it. It has come.
We too will braid our hair and fight on the battlefield.

@sonofatoolmaker You can start by sharing the @HeyvaKurd and help donations. Sharing pro Kurdish content, speaking up against the racism we face, raising awareness, writing to your MPs and local papers demanding they cover the Rojava situation all help.
We need solidarity right now. We need people to speak up for us, and with us right now. We need you to contribute to the demands for Kurdish rights. We need you to speak up for us with the same level of revolutionary love and intensity as when Rojava fought against ISIS for you!
This Turkish individual has threatened to shoot me simply because I have exposed their deep-seated racism to the world. Threats like these are nothing new to me; I receive them daily, not only from Turks but also from Jihadi Arabs and Iranians who back the oppressive Islamic regime in Iran.
In his message, this person stated:
“Hey you little jackal, do you have a problem with the Turks? You’ll eat bullets from the place where you eat bread.”
This reflects their culture and values—violence, intimidation, and hostility toward freedom of speech and expression.
These are the members of NATO.
These are the allies of the USA.
It is truly disgraceful.
Kerstin Weng, head of Vogue Germany, in a striking KURDISTAN flag crochet sweater by designer Sezgin Kivrim at Vogue’s 1st ever Forces of Fashion event in Berlin. AMAZING!! 😍

@VOGUE_Germany
Wow!! Kerstin Weng, Editor-in-Chief of the famous @VOGUE_Germany , appeared at the #ForcesofFashion event in Berlin wearing a sweater with the Kurdish flag 🇹🇯! Such a cool way to blend fashion with culture. It's worth mentioning that Nike also released a culturally Kurdish-themed ad before being pressured to remove it by Turkey. Kerstin faced a flood of racist comments today but received huge support from the Kurdish community, which she thanked on her Instagram page! 🙌 #Kurd #Vogue
Over 1000 bombings & attacks causing mass environmental devastation, displacement, injuries and killing of innocent civilians and not a single condemnation/efforts to prevent Turkey’s ongoing terrorism towards southern Kurdistan. How long must we live under this reign of terror?
Today we remember one of the darkest days in Kurdish history.
Thousands of Kurdish people were indiscriminately killed in a chemical attack by Saddam Hussein’s tyrannical regime in #Halabja.
75% of the victims were women and children.
This Day in History: March 16, 1988
Saddam Hussein’s regime committed genocide against the Kurdish people, killing 5,000 with chemical weapons and permanently destroying 11,000 more in Halabja, #Kurdistan.
Never Forget.
