A Swedish start-up called Corvid Cleaning came up with a clever idea to fight litter using one of nature’s smartest birds. The company built a machine that rewards wild crows with food whenever they deposit cigarette butts into it. The birds quickly learned the system, and littering has been reduced as much as 75%.

The fine: 800 SEK ($75 USD).

The problem? Police don't prioritize the offense despite 1 billion butts being littered annually in Sweden. The risk of getting caught is minimal. But if you do get fined, it costs more than a Trashpocket costs for years.

Cigarette butts pile up at building entrances, along sidewalks, and outside offices every single day...

They don't just look bad, they're costly to remove. Cleanup requires specialized machinery, manual sweeping, and hours of staff time. In Sweden alone, the cost of picking up a single butt is estimated at 0.80 to 2 SEK. Globally, the annual cleanup cost for cities runs into the millions.

All of this is completely unnecessary!

If tenants and employees are introduced to a trashpocket, the problem disappears, along with the cost.

A small pocket = big savings.
