@realEstateTrent In a lot of ways, yes you are correct. The flip side is that our kids having the knowledge about the financial benefits of real estate can be huge no matter what profession they go to. Financial literacy is so important. Investment opportunities, etc.

@T2Ohrd_blvd@Beganovic2026 Correct. The state has to make up the tax revenue somewhere. A big one will be massive sales and grocery tax increases. If it’s convenient for enough people, they will buy those things in Illinois instead.

@moseskagan The murderer had committed two similar armed robberies on people in the 5 days prior to the murder. On camera, same outfit, people sitting in their cars in drive throughs.
He wasn’t a priority until he killed someone. They had him identified caught and arrested in 12 hours.

A 27 year old former employee was murdered this week by a random person. Just sitting in Starbucks drive through.
