Every major network found time for both sides.
@CBC didn't.
56 minutes of Pierre Poilievre's press conference.
Zero seconds on @CBCTheNational
Here's the response CBC viewers never got to see. 👇
Trump, the President of another country is responsible for everything happening to Canada.
Carney, the Prime Minister of Canada is not responsible for anything happening to Canada.
Do you see how stupid that sounds?
Mark Zuckerberg, an outspoken critic of "man-made climate change", shows off his new $300 million, 287-foot mega yacht, powered by four gigantic diesel engines.
Yet another stark reminder that Net Zero is only for the peasants
Yup. To the moronic attack over the CEO of Air Canada for using only English in his sincere message of sympathy - you are distracting from the sincere message of sympathy.
Well put @JKenney.
Imagine you’re the CEO of Air Canada….
….sleepless and dealing with a brutal tragedy in real time with vast US and Canadian media coverage - and your PM decides to hit you with a cheap shot saying you lack ‘compassion’ because you lack excellent French language skills.
But you’re the CEO of a regulated industry so he knows you can’t punch back. Even though his own French is carefully stage-managed. And the Governor General can barely speak it.
The PM chose to use a national tragedy to score marginal political points with the Quebec language police.
Tone deaf and gross.
Je veux dire, c'est grotesque et d'une insensibilité totale.
Everyone is allowed to have an opinion on who they think the #1 QB is in this year NFL Draft, but trying to discredit the fact that nobody made more big time/crunch time throws than Fernando Mendoza in College Football last year or played in bigger games is worse than stepping out the back of the Endzone.
Watching the film is essential to the evaluation process, but when you go into the film watching trying to “find” something to talk about on TV it leads you down a dangerous path.
Can Fernando Mendoza make all the throws? Yes.
Can Ty Simpson? Yes.
Nit picking the amount of times a certain “NFL Throw” was made is tailoring your film watching to tear down a guy instead of realizing that Fernando Mendoza was 3rd in Completion %, 4th in yards per attempt, 1st in TDs, 1st in QB Rating and the most efficient QB in College Football.
You can love both QBs and you can prefer one over the other.
But you can’t get mad when people call you out on faulty reasons for your analysis.
That’s why people think Dan Orlovsky is being paid to support Ty Simpson.
Ty Simpson is an amazing young QB.
The reasons Orlovsky is saying he is better than Mendoza don’t make sense and makes him look like he is just saying it to say something interesting on TV.
𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀? 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿? 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀...
Carney: Pierre's off-putting, life-long politician, finds opportunity in tragedy!
Poilievre: I will not disparage my Prime Minister on foreign soil.
Tells you everything you need to know!
Honor vs Dishonor!
😇👿
Joe Rogan asked Pierre Poilievre about Mark Carney.
Poilievre's reply "I will not criticise our PM on foreign soil."
Real class 🇨🇦
Mark Carney was asked about Poilievre.
Carney goes off on a smug, arrogant, condescending rant.
Zero class😏
Who do you want representing Canada? 🤔
