On behalf of everyone at Flint RNLI, we send our heartfelt condolences to The Royal Family on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen dedicated 70 years as Patron of the RNLI. Her Majesty’s support for our lifesavers - and our cause - will never be forgotten.
@amateuradam Thank you for all your work on mental health in the NHS @amateuradam. Being a Doctor is not easy. There is a huge amount hidden pressure - as you rightly say - simply brushed under the carpet. It’s time to protect the frontline staff who have given up so much.
Today, with huge thanks to Ealing Hospital, we planted a tree - the UK’s only memorial to NHS staff who have died by suicide. May they rest in peace, and may we redouble our efforts to stop it happening ever in the future. 3/3
Today we held our Foundation Awards 2021. It was a more low key event than we would have liked as so many could only join virtually or will catch the recording. Our F2s received a leaving gift as we wanted them to have a token of our appreciation as they leave foundation training
Our awards were as follows…Senior iTeach🥇the whole ICU from the admin staff, the HCAs, pharmacists, nurses,JDs to consultants were nominated. Despite the workload the ICU team made sure our FDs felt like a part of ICU family with countless learning opportunities. Congrats ICU 🎉

So that’s it. As of this week I’m no longer a neurosurgery trainee. I’ve given up my NTN after 6 years in neurosurgery.
My stomach still flips when I think about what I’ve done. I still can’t quite believe I’ve done it. I’m not sure if it’s brave or stupid? 1/n
