I am so grateful for all of the support that I have received over the years. I’m traveling and offering Masses of Thanksgiving in some important places in my life. You might consider this my "Eras Tour," but since that name was already taken, we'll call this my "Tour of Thanks."
Congratulations to #Jesuit Fathers Aric Serrano, Tucker Redding, Bill McCormick and José Dueño, of @JesuitsUCS, who were ordained yesterday in New Orleans.

Today we begin the season of Lent, a time of penance. While it can be uncomfortable to think about our sins @AlexElaireHale reminds us that this is also an opportunity to experience the great love and mercy of God. #AshWednesday#1MinHomily
"This is the fasting that I wish: releasing those bound unjustly...setting free the oppressed...sharing your bread with the hungry, sheltering the oppressed and the homeless; clothing the naked when you see them, and not turning your back on your own." Isaiah 58 #AshWednesday
Excellent talk by @CJKellermanSJ on his new book! Go to one of his talks if you can and get his book: "All Oppression Shall Cease." It is incredibly in depth on the history of slavery and the Catholic Church.
I think part of it was that I got the proper rest that I needed to recharge. Pay attention when you need to take a break. Not only is it not being lazy, it might actually help your productivity in the long run. (pun semi-intended) 2/2
I’ve been training for a marathon lately. Yesterday I was supposed to go on a long run but I just wasn’t feeling up for it, so I skipped it. I really got down on myself and felt lazy. Today, I went on the long run and it felt really good. 1/2
