➤ Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei shared video that shows Shahid Hamedani Elementary School before and after the strike. A casualty toll was not immediately available.

Quello che sta accadendo in Senato è grave e pericoloso.

Lo rivela il quotidiano Domani: in questi giorni si sta discutendo una proposta di legge presentata da Maurizio Gasparri (Forza Italia), ufficialmente per contrastare l’antisemitismo.

Ma dentro, riga dopo riga, si nasconde un progetto molto diverso: usare il tema della sicurezza per mettere un bavaglio a chi critica Israele, soprattutto nelle scuole e nelle università.

Il disegno di legge, il numero 1627, recepisce alla lettera la definizione dell’antisemitismo proposta dall’IHRA, un documento composto da un testo base che equipara l’antisionismo all’antisemitismo e dà 11 esempi che definiscono cosa sarebbe antisemitismo.

Per intenderci: anche il solo paragonare i crimini di Israele a quelli della Germania naz*sta sarebbe considerato per legge antisemita.

Basta vedere cosa è successo nel Regno Unito per capire cosa ci aspetta: conferenze cancellate, professori indagati, ONG come Amnesty accusate di antisemitismo per aver detto che Israele è uno Stato di apartheid.

E ora tutto questo lo vogliono portare anche qui, in Italia.

L’articolo 2 della legge dice che i ministeri – Difesa, Giustizia, Interni, Istruzione e Università – dovranno promuovere corsi obbligatori sulla cultura ebraica e sull’antisemitismo, includendo l’antisionismo.

L’articolo 3 definisce le modalità di segnalazione per “prevenire” episodi di antisemitismo nelle università e le sanzioni per i docenti che non dovessero ottemperare.

Tutto questo sta succedendo oggi, nel nostro Parlamento.

Non hanno davvero limiti.
