Insulin access is a matter of life or death for people with #T1D – that’s why it is unconscionable that 43 Members of the U.S. Senate voted today to strip from the budget bill a provision to cap insulin at $35/mo. in commercial plans.

@grahamwalker Well controlled type 1 on insulin and CGM , uses pretty small doses of insulin. Insurance denied CGM because she hadn't filled insulin Rx in 5 months (she had a stockpile due to fear of running out). A1c is <7% , this is impossible in a T1 without insulin (I'm on my 3rd appeal)🙄
