@TheRAC_UK Called Friday at 6 with gearbox problem that would need recovery from a country lane, patrol arrived Sunday lunchtime. The service has become not just pointless but actively endangering people by promising to be there within half an hour when that’s clearly not possible.
Closing in on 24 hours waiting for @TheRAC_UK. Was advised last night they weren’t coming and wouldn’t reimburse for an Uber because it wasn’t recovery (because no patrol sent first), I was told to “call 999 and ask them to arrange a taxi.”….it’s not on the road…
To update, been waiting with car today since first window given of 8am, was told at 17.45 I was the next stop and would be 48 minutes. Phone back at 8pm after no updates and can’t be told when a patrol will be assigned, “you’ll have to wait for them to let you know”. I fold.
3.5 hours on the m25 in freezing rain alone until midnight after wrong advice to drive home due to”more urgent cases”, 5.5 hours with no response, 3.5 hours waiting before told they’d pay for an Uber home, but this one they don’t do that but I should call 999 rather than Uber?!
@robi94019@TheRAC_UK Mines apparently been escalated twice, closing in on 24 hours, were “aiming” for an hour ago with no updates. This is about the 5th pointless experience in a row, beginning to think it’s some kind of sham protection racket….
Selling two tickets for Mighty Hoopla this afternoon, pre 2pm entry but you can pay £10 to upgrade to normal entry later, £49.50 each face value 07790680964
@sainsburys I asked if I could push back grocery delivery yesterday as was delayed & given first slot in 4 hour window and was told as long as I was home by 8.30 it would be fine, driver called from outside at 7.30 so had to mark as not delivered and I was told they’d contact me
@sainsburys to reschedule, driver said the customer service rep said he had told me something different - respectfully not the case. Just called as they didn’t contact and told the only option is to cancel, refund takes up to a week & reorder every item again. Is this really necessary….?
@andrewhunterm I’ve never thought of how funny it is that tank tops have the word tank in their name and yet could not be less related as items or (and I mean this purely as a compliment) personality types…
