@autisticinnovat @nikkehtine Ah fair enough, however that wasn't exactly Windows' fault, a bug in the firmware of some SSDs was triggered by the update which caused the frying.
As you said no fixing windows will solve a drive failure.

@autisticinnovat @nikkehtine Updates are important for security regardless of how you feel. Typically an update shouldn't "kill" a device unless it somehow fries it? Repairing windows will fix any OS issues that might've been caused by faulty updates.

@o_xaavier @seeprodude @Win10EoS This will not help you if a vulnerability that allows.. for example.. RCE (remote code execution) on your system. These security patches happen for a reason and sometimes the user cannot prevent all of them. This is why you cant run XP exposed to the internet anymore.
