On the heels of yesterday's roundtable with the 15+ Ontario companies representing the province at DEFSEC, we had the opportunity to stop by their booths on the conference show floor.
It was great to learn more about their operations, and how their defence innovations and capabilities will bolster our broader supply chain and sector.
Pleased to join Laurentian University’s Minerals and Mining Strategic Plan Implementation Forum today in Sudbury to bring together government, industry, researchers and educators.
Ontario’s mining sector already supports 150,000 direct and indirect jobs and contributes $14.4 billion to provincial GDP annually. We are building on that strength by unlocking opportunities like the Ring of Fire, which could create more than 70,000 jobs and add $22 billion to Ontario’s economy. ⛏️🇨🇦
I recently shared why #RuralOntarioMatters and why it is important to recognize and celebrate all of our small towns and rural communities on an annual basis now during Rural Ontario Week!! Check it out! 👇
