When you are coming back to the market, after an extended duration, like a vacation or Lord forbid... illness; you want to remind yourself that you are not expected to be perfect.
I liken it to zeroing my rifle and optics.
If you haven't used your rifle for a while, it is wise to zero it, which means to calibrate your scope for targeting, factor wind and drag and after sending rounds down range for a few sessions... you should be placing rounds on target with consistency again.
That is the premise... not being "right" on day one, climbing back into the saddle.
